Suzanne Dottino is a lifelong New Yorker. She attended Professional Children’s School, earned a BA in English Literature from Hunter College and an MFA in Writing (non-fiction) from Columbia University. She is a freelance proofreader and editor and teaches Introduction to Fiction, Drama and Poetry at Borough of Manhattan Community College. Her story, “Angel of Mercy,” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and was published in The Bellevue Literary Review. You can watch a reading of the story here: Dixon Place
She is working on a graphic novel about teen detectives in Manhattan, “Deli-Cat-Ective”.
She teaches: “Mining Your Life for Drama,” a six-week writing workshop that uses the timeline of your life to create compelling stories, memoirs, plays and essays.
